Yes, more poems... XD I'm sorry, I should really post a proper story here soon. I did write a short one yesterday! But it needs working, so will have to look into that. I should also really write my short story "Dead Snow" soon, I've been thinking about that one for ages... Other than that... I have lots of random chapters on different stories... but as I don't write activly on them at the moment, I feel it kinda pointless to post them here. I hope to be able to post something more proper soon, but in the meantime, I'll torture you with these poem/poem-stories have these short writings instead. ( Sayonara )( Lovers' Goodbye )( Nightmares )( Secrets )I also realized I haven't posted my Timeless poem-story in this journal, just my personal one. So here you go ( Timeless )
Some randomness: The first sentence of this was supposed to be a love-poem (that I wrote while my friend and her boyfriend went out to take a smoke), but it ended with death... ^^; Lips red, opening to let words out Soundless; suffocated by the blood that replace any word Eyes blue, opening to see the dawn Staring, soulless, watching a red sun set for the last time A hand reaches out, grasping for someone; anyone But alone in the darkness, no one to save her, no one to die with her
This one actually did turn into a love poem (why do my poems often end with death or similar, btw? O_o) A soft music; gentle tunes that fills the air A voice that sings, a beautiful gentleness that makes you shiver The words lost, but the meaning of them clear “I love you. Things are never easy, but I’m always here” “I love you”
A feeling of peace spreads through you The kind of calmness only this voice can give The music relaxing your body and mind The words whispering gently in your ear “I’ll love only you”
You wake suddenly The music that had sent you to sleep now gone A fear grips you, the words feeling like a memory of a dream But turning around you see you are not alone A smile; lips opening to speak, a safe reassuring voice whispers “I love only you. I will never leave you” The music was never really gone
EDIT: Apparently, this one wasn't as crappy as I thought, according to Lindy, so decided to torture you post this one too She sings of a battle long lost Of a war that was won ages ago She sings of the times that has passed And of tears yet to be shed She is eternity And she knows all that has been, or that has yet to be
They all need names... any ideas, or thoughts about them in general?
The other night when I was trying to sleep, a little something came to me which I wrote down. It's a story-poem or whatever to call it XD So I decided to post it, and see what you guys think and get out of it :) Not sure about the title though... ( What he is thinking )
These are two very short stories I wrote this summer when I was up at the cottage with Sarah, Divya and Line. Both stories were a "challenge" from Sarah while we were sitting outside on the terrace, trying to get inspiration. When I finished both stories, Sarah helped me look over it and remove mistakes, so a big thank you to her ^^ "The Silver Key" is inspired by... some author's story with the same name (I'll figure out his name soonish ^^). I haven't read the story, but Sarah told me about it and challenged me to write a similar story. This is what I wrote: ( The Silver Key )"Saving the Memories" were written for the following challenge; 'Write a story containing an yellowing wedding dress and a broken mirror.' So here's what I ended up with: ( Saving the Memories )
It's been a long time since I've posted anything here, so thought I'd post another one of my older short-stories. I've got several good comments on this one, so let's see what you guys think :) This is also the English version of the originally Norwegian story that I published in a Norwegian comic-magazine called Nemi. I thought I'd start my new writing journal with an "old" story of mine. I wrote this when I was at the Folk High School, so I guess in late 2004. I just had the first two words in mind; "I cried". After that it all came flowing out, and when I finished I looked at it and thought; "Huh. That's actually pretty good." Or something like that XD Anyway, have got quite many good comments on this one (some even got ideas from it), and it's one of my favorites. I've also translated it into Norwegian, but the original English one is by far much better. I've also plans on turning this one into a comic (if I ever manage to draw it XD) and a movie. More lenghty info about the movie-making can be found in my personal journal later. Now, enjoy the story :) [EDIT: I've now divided the story into paragraphs, so it's easier for you to read :P] ( A Confused Soul )
